In many cases especially where there are stories of brand new players getting an H03 message, the H03 message does not refer to an actual physical problem but a diagnostic glitch.

I had no trouble playing mp3's from a CDR, but have not yet tried mp3's from a DVD+/-R.

I had to rotate the black gear a few times to get it to work, but nevertheless it worked. Even with the battery on (clips underneath on the back of the unit and extends slightly both under and behind the body) the thing is like a large calculator. even the battery is still enough to run one dvds however about ten mins ago whilst testing ready to take on holiday flight the dreaded H03 came up. The LS55 is a great upgrade over my previous Panasonic portable DVD player. All rights reserved. Here's what I like and dislike about the player.The picture quality on this player is very nice and I haven't had any problems with dead pixels.

I've had half a dozen people crowded around entralled in a movie with big sound making the 7" screen seem much larger.All in all an excellent DVD player. Everything turned out!!! Which brings me to the present... Sure enough, it worked!
