We shouldnt let them get away with this. I had a Panasonic LS-82 portable DVD with the same error, and no sign of the motor running. Don't know how long it will last, but works for now. The photos in your artile were very helpful in fixing HO3 error of my Panasonis DVD - LS90. So, I think going from room temperature to below freezing in a short period of time caused the mechanics/plastics to constrict and bind. first you will need a dvm (voltmeter) put it on lowest ohm setting probe - + to the spindel motor should read between 12 and 9 Ohms then turn the motor Code H03 Panasonic Dvd Player you will find the servo motor and laser lamb on one metal structure hanged to the body by three rubber suspensions remove the whole structre and turn it upside down slowly
Any help? The part number is RXQ1218KIT. Hossam's instructions say to locate "three rubber suspensions." Give this a few good whirls and start it up again. I want to try to do the oil trick this weekend. Most of the time the Spindle motor is dieing out when you get a H02 error. I've tried to get in touch or get some support from Panasonic but they won't acknowledge or admit that there may be a problem with one of their "products".
