Yeah, those connectors are a bit stubborn at times, as I'm sure you know by now. Baked the board and it is now working fine! ... A engine test will probably just not print verifying your problem is still a jam issue. It’s a bit late now.

Fatal Error Turn off the printer, wait 10 seconds, and turn on the printer. I'm blown away by this considering all the reports of this problem here and elsewhere online. We'd power cycle it and it would come back up but eventually I got the amber lights described in the OP. Thanks to everybody here who initially suggested this and then gave positive feedback that it worked and no thanks, of course, to HP!

They are back ordered to mid-Septemeber at this point. These ovens are like combi ovens... Thanks for saving me money!
