Outlook Express Error Sending Attachments
I've run out of ideas as the error message is blank and has no description of what the problem is. I know Outlook Express isn't technically Office but didn't know where else to go. To enable Outlook Express 6.x to open file attachments follow the instructions below Step 1 - Accessing Attachments Open up Outlook Express by double clicking on the icon, or by clicking I tried deleting the outbox and that didn't seem to have any effect. http://sisei.net/outlook-express/outlook-express-error-when-sending-attachments.html

Both my virus and windows programmes are up to date and all my message settings seem to be fine. File Type Extension Opens With... For the Norton AV, go into the NAV options and disable the outgoing e-mail scanner. First message I sent without attachment went OK (ie to sent items) but when I tried one with an attachment it ended up in outbox.

Now all messages go to outbox (though they really have been sent and arrive at destination fine). You may need to open the message and send it again, or choose Send/Receive.
