Please help!!! All my email are in the outbox. I need to retrieve all the mails. How can I access the old dbx file to delete and distribute messages into smaller folders? http://sisei.net/outlook-express/outlook-express-error-outbox.html

The system returned: (22) Invalid argument The remote host or network may be down. I had the exact same problem to the letter.Every forum tells you to delete the outbox.dbx file, but in fact you may need to make room in your sent items folder. Firstly i need to retrieve my old sent items and then want to sort out the stuck outbox problem!!! Why it wouldn't work? You may have missed some steps, example, deleting the sent items file, restarting outlook, etc. My suggestion is to move the messages to several folders (to not reach 2GB while trying to move them and add more problems) and close Outlook Express, then delete the file all just the dbx file..

It works. You'll need to change your email password by changing your Windows network password. Of course email accounts have a limit on the size of email you can send and my inbox has a limit of 10mb.
