The incoming server is OK as imap and imap.telus.net with no encryption. It's very annoying. I put all my settings back towhat they were before I talked to Jimmy.

I did try to soft reset the Pre - no help. Joel This is great! Petes.:) Thanks for the reply. It never sent but did give me an error and told me that it didn't send.
No one I know has a Palm Pre Plus! Took 15 mins last time. When I read about the NAI that is something I hadn't checked and b/c I was using the updated user name and password that was changed on my acct when they see this here Whenever I exit the seetings screen and then go back in, the button is automatically switched back to"On".

Turns out I also needed to remove "palm" from "palm.smtp.mail.yahoo.com." Once I did that, everything worked fine. But i dont see an option to do so. We are not happy with the bugs and the unhelpful error messages (or lack thereof altogether)! 3 measly updates in the last 2 months is quite pathetic. Reply
My email was addressed to my hotmail account ([email protected]). It's bizarre to me that different approaches are working for some but not others.
