If the manufacturer-original lubricant is not available, use instead a light synthetic oil. I got a terrific hit off the AV Science Forum (est. 1995). Some DVD's are not compatible with all Players. Slide it back and forth see if it comes free. I also have the same identical problem....I wonder if the money I spent for this was really worth it...It seems like these things are plagued with problems... reply Thanks!

After a few tries, I knew I would be stripping the heads off these screws if I continued. The motor does not seem to spin. I've had extensive experience with a lot of their equipment and similar equipment from more reputable companies like Sony, Hitachi, etc. To test if the Error H03 problem has been resolved, I replaced the bottom housing and connected the battery to turn the DVD on.
