Hello, This issue comes up very often regarding these systems. "Overload" is an indicator that there are either shorted speaker outputs inside the unit, a shorted speaker wire, or a blown I noticed that the heat-sink compond on the MOSFETs is still moist. I recently bought another one on Ebay for a dollar (they said that it was non-working and displayed 'Overload'). It seems that most amps operate at a fairly high temp and is considered normal (just like video cards). Panasonic Sa-he100 Manual Despite the fact that some magazine articles (forget which magazine) stated that these could drive 6ohm and 4ohm, I've found that it's really not true, as I've gotten the "overload" message

It was also the cooler one to the touch (even in Overload) while IC601 (the other MOSFET of the pair) was hotter.
The chances of both of them going out at the same time are slim (it's probably one or the other). It happened a second time a couple of days later — this time no recovery even after a long rest. http://sisei.net/panasonic-sa/panasonic-sa-he-70-f70-error.html As soon one IC fails to work, it seems the amp reports the error. To see if the compond is working, you will have to run it with the top off and be sure the MOSFETS are staying fairly cool on the fronts. Youre not using a USB hub are you?? the MOSFET fronts stay cool and all the heat is properly transferred to the heatsink (which still gets really hot). It was as if the bad one bad shut down completely.I know that you can sometimes remove the bad transistor or regulator and it will stop blowing fuses.
